Now then, come, let us kill him and throw him in one of the pits. Then we will say a wild animal devoured him. Then we will see what his dreams become."

One went out from me, and I said, "Surely he must have been torn to pieces," and I have never seen him since.

When he left, a lion found him on the road and killed him, and his dead body [was] thrown on the road with the donkey standing beside it, and the lion [was] standing by the dead body.

When he turned around and saw them, he cursed them in the name of Yahweh. Then two bears came out of the forest and mauled forty-two boys among them.

The simple will believe every word, but the clever will consider his step.

Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will understand after these [things]."
