After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years and had other sons and daughters.

This is the ACCOUNT OF NOAH. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. He walked with God.

Abram was ninety-nine years old. Jehovah appeared to him and said: I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless.

She quickly emptied her jar into the water trough. Then she ran back to the well to draw more water. She drew enough for all his camels.

Solomon answered: You always showed great love for my father David, your servant. He was good, loyal, and honest in his relation with you. You have continued to show him your great and constant love by giving him a son who today rules in his place.

I always keep Jehovah in front of me. When he is at my right hand (assisting me), I cannot be moved.

You will hear a voice behind you say: This is the way. Walk in it, whether it turns to the right or to the left.

They will be spread out and exposed to the sun, the moon, and all the stars in the sky. These are the things that they had loved, served, gone after, sought, and worshiped. Their bones will not be gathered or buried, but they will become manure on the ground.

They were both righteous before God. They blamelessly obeyed all the commandments and ordinances of God (Greek: kurios: God).

Whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do everything to the glory of God.

This is our pride and testimony of conscience. In holiness and Godly sincerity we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you. It was not by fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God.

You have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord. Now walk (live) in union with him.

You should walk worthily of God, who called you into his own kingdom and glory.

Fed me

Jacob made a vow. He said: If God will be with me and will watch over me on my trip and give me food to eat and clothes to wear,

([Psalm of David]) Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Trust Jehovah and do good things. Live in the land, and practice being faithful.

He redeems your life from ruin and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies.

There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink, and delight in his work. This also I saw was from the hand of God.

The sleep of the workingman is pleasant, whether he eats little or much. However the full stomach of the rich man does not allow him to sleep.

All the labor of man is for his mouth and yet the appetite is not satisfied.

This man will dwell on the heights. His refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and he will have water.

I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink. And do not worry about your body, what you will wear. Is life worth more than food? And is the body worth more than clothes?

Godliness with contentment is great gain.
