The overflowing

The Israelites went through the middle of the sea on dry ground. The water stood like a wall on their right and on their left.

As they carried the ark into the Jordan and the feet of the priests dipped into the water, for Jordan is at food stage at the time of harvest.

When the priests that carried the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah were up out of the middle of the Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up onto the dry land that the waters of Jordan returned to their place, and flowed over all its banks, as they did before.

You parted the sea before them, so that they went through the sea on dry land; and those who went after them went down into the deep, like a stone into great waters.

The ocean floor could be seen. The foundations of the earth were laid bare at your stern warning, O Jehovah, at the blast of the breath from your nostrils.

He turned the sea into dry land. They crossed the river on foot. We rejoiced because of what he did there.

You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters (Egypt's Army) in the waters.

The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they were agitated. The depths also convulsed.

To Him who divided the Red Sea asunder. His loving kindness is everlasting.

Jehovah will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt. He will wave his hand, his mighty Spirit, over the (Euphrates) River. He will strike it into seven streams and make men walk over on dry land.

His people finally remembered Moses and the days of old. Where is the one who brought them out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is the one who put his Holy Spirit in the midst of them?

By faith they passed through the Red Sea as though they were on dry land. The Egyptians tried and were drowned.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates. Its water was dried up so that the way might be prepared for the kings from the east.

The deep

The meadows are clothed with flocks and the valleys are covered with grain. They shout for joy, yes, they sing.

The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their pounding waves.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness of it.

Let the sea and everything in it, the world and those who live in it roar like thunder.

Wild animals, jackals, and ostriches will honor me. I will provide water in the desert. I will make rivers on the dry land for my chosen people to drink.

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
