When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice; rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in my seat, that I might rest in the day of trouble when he comes up unto the people to destroy them.

Speech

Who shall believe our report? and upon whom shall the arm of the LORD be manifested?

But not everyone hearkens unto the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our report?

And now as for a brief moment there has been the mercy of the LORD our God, to leave us an escape, and that we may be given a stake in his holy sanctuary that our God may illuminate our eyes and give us a little preservation of life in our bondage.

Wilt thou not give us life again that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Return unto us, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy slaves.
