The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

But when this priest had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, he sat down at the right hand of God,

keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.

Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory -- the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father.

Jesus replied, "Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me, Philip? The person who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,

Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession.

He has no need to do every day what those priests do, to offer sacrifices first for their own sins and then for the sins of the people, since he did this in offering himself once for all.

Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We have such a high priest, one who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

for then he would have had to suffer again and again since the foundation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the consummation of the ages to put away sin by his sacrifice.

to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen.

I will grant the one who conquers permission to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

O Lord, you are great, mighty, majestic, magnificent, glorious, and sovereign over all the sky and earth! You have dominion and exalt yourself as the ruler of all.

From the north he comes in golden splendor; around God is awesome majesty.

When the earth and all its inhabitants dissolve in fear, I make its pillars secure." (Selah)

A psalm of David. Here is the Lord's proclamation to my lord: "Sit down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool!"

Surely the king's authority is absolute; no one can say to him, "What are you doing?"

He will assume his post and shepherd the people by the Lord's strength, by the sovereign authority of the Lord his God. They will live securely, for at that time he will be honored even in the distant regions of the earth.

"Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and father children for his brother.'

For David himself says in the book of Psalms, 'The Lord said to my lord, "Sit at my right hand,

On the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

So then, exalted to the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you both see and hear.

"Look!" he said. "I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!"

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died (and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.

For God, who said "Let light shine out of darkness," is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.

This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

and he entered once for all into the most holy place not by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood, and so he himself secured eternal redemption.

For where there is a will, the death of the one who made it must be proven.

Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

who went into heaven and is at the right hand of God with angels and authorities and powers subject to him.

For we did not follow cleverly concocted fables when we made known to you the power and return of our Lord Jesus Christ; no, we were eyewitnesses of his grandeur.

But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

And you know that Jesus was revealed to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!"
