Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the joyful assembly

For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city which is to come.

In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

But our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city which is to come.
