What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

The eye that mocks a father and looks with a disobedient attitude at a mother the valley ravens will pluck it out; and vultures will eat it.

They've treated mothers and fathers among you with contempt. They've oppressed the foreigner among you. They've maltreated the orphan and the widow among you.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is the right thing to do.

Shall we not

"A son honors his father and a servant his master. So if I'm a father, where is my honor? And if I'm a master, where is my respect?" says the LORD of the Heavenly Armies to you priests who are despising my name. "But you ask, "How have we despised your name?'

Therefore, submit yourselves to God. Resist the Devil, and he will run away from you.

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you.

The father

Then they fell on their faces and said, "God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, will you be angry at the entire congregation on account of one man's sin?"

"May the LORD God of the spirits of all living creatures appoint a man over the community

and that the life of every living thing rests in his control, along with the breath of every living human being?

then man's dust will go back to the earth, returning to what it was, and the spirit will return to the God who gave it.

This is what God says the God who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and its produce, who gives breath to the people on it and life to those who walk in it:
