Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
Do not repay anyone evil for evil.
Try to do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes.
Let us walk with decency,
as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness; not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy.
Finally brothers, whatever is true,
whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise—dwell on these things.
1 Thessalonians 4:12
so that you may walk properly
in the presence of outsiders and not be dependent on anyone.
1 Peter 2:12
yourselves honorably among the Gentiles, so that in a case where they speak against you as those who do what is evil, they will, by observing your good works, glorify God on the day of visitation.
