how shall we escape, having neglected so great salvation; which, indeed, having at first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard;
even as those who from the beginning were eye-witnesses and ministers of the word delivered them to us;
at the end of these days spake to us in His Son, Whom He appointed Heir of all things, through Whom also He constituted the ages;
See that ye refuse not Him Who speaketh; for, if those escaped not, when refusing him who warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape, who turn away from Him Who warneth us from Heaven;
and, having been made perfect, He became the Author of eternal life to all who obey Him;

Let us, therefore, fear, lest a promise still being left of entering into His rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.
Let us, therefore, give diligence to enter into that rest, that no one fall after the same example of unbelief.
Whence also He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, since He is ever living to intercede in their behalf.
Because it is the time for judgment to begin at the house of God; and, if it begin first at us, what shall be the end of those who obey not the Gospel of God?
and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who is sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
