In all this the holy Spirit was seeking to show that there was no free access to the sanctuary while the outer tent was still standing.

He said to them, "How is it then that David under the Spirit's influence calls him lord, and says,

David himself, under the influence of the holy Spirit, said, " 'The Lord has said to my lord, "Sit at my right hand Until I put your enemies under your feet." '

As God's fellow-worker, I appeal to you, too, not to accept the favor of God and then waste it.
