Hosea 1:2
When Jehovah first spoke through Hosea, Jehovah said to Hosea, Go and marry an adulterous wife and have children with her for the land commits flagrant adultery. They have abandoned Jehovah.
Hosea 3:1
Jehovah said to me: Go again and love a woman beloved by her friend. Love an adulteress, even as Jehovah loves the children of Israel. Though they turn to other gods, and love cakes of raisins for feasts.
Deuteronomy 31:16
Jehovah said to Moses: You are about to lie down with your fathers in death. This people will arise and play the harlot with the strange gods of the land. They will plunge into the midst of it. They will forsake me and break my covenant that I made with them.
