Wise

Whoso is wise, and pondereth these things well, shall understand the loving-kindness of the LORD.

By hearing, the wise man shall come by more wisdom:

The path of the righteous shineth as the light, and is ever brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.

What man is so wise, as to understand this? Or to whom hath the LORD spoken by mouth, that he may show this, and say, "O thou land, why perishest thou so? Wherefore art thou so burnt up, and like a wilderness that no man goeth through?"

and many shall be purified, cleansed and tried. But the ungodly shall live wickedly, and those wicked, as many as they be, shall have no understanding. As for such as have understanding, they shall regard it.

He answered, and said unto them, "It is given unto you to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

He that is of God, heareth God's words. Ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God."
