The vision of Isaiah the son of Amos, which he saw upon Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah which was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.

and he hath said, that heareth the words of God and hath the knowledge of the most high and beholdeth the vision of the almighty, and when he falleth down hath his eyes opened:

Thou spakest sometime in visions unto thy saints, and saidst, "I have laid help upon one that is mighty, I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

In the third year of Hoshea son of Elah, king of Israel, reigned Hezekiah son of Ahaz king of Judah.

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw in a vision, concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

In the same year that king Uzziah died, I saw the LORD sitting upon a high and glorious seat, and his train filled the temple.

It happened in the time of Ahaz the son of Jotham, which was the son of Uzziah, king of Judah: that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to besiege it, but won it not.

This is the heavy burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amos did see.

Whoso may deceive, said the voice, let him deceive: Who so may destroy, let him destroy. Up Elam, besiege it O Media, for I will still all their groanings.

Moreover the voice cried thus, "Go up unto the hill, O Zion, thou that bringest good tidings; lift up thy voice with power, O thou preacher Jerusalem. Lift it up without fear, and say unto the cities of Judah, 'Behold, your God!'

And therefore the LORD of Hosts giveth you this warning, "Hear not the words of the prophets, that preach unto you, and deceive you: for they speak the meaning of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

This is the word of the LORD, that came unto Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah kings of Judah: and in the time of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel.

These are the sermons that were showed unto Amos, which was one of the shepherds at Tekoa, upon Israel, in the time of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the time of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

But the LORD answered me, and said, "Write the vision plainly upon thy tables, that whoso cometh by, may read it:

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, "See that ye tell the vision to no man, till the son of man be risen again from death."

While Peter mused in himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold: the men which were sent from Cornelius, had made inquirance for Simon's house, and stood before the door.

"Wherefore king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

For the scripture came never by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the holy ghost.

The second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

It is not expedient for me, no doubt, to rejoice; Nevertheless I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
