In times to come, Jacob will take root, and Israel will blossom, sprout shoots, and fill the whole world with fruit.

"Also announce the following: "This is what the LORD of the Heavenly Armies says: "My cities will again overflow with prosperity. The LORD will comfort Zion once more and will choose Jerusalem again."'"

Simeon has explained how God first showed his concern for the gentiles by taking from among them a people for his name.
