And they

Then people will begin to say to the mountains, 'Fall on us!' and to the hills, 'Cover us up!'

The kings of the earth, the nobles, the officers, the rich, the strong??verybody, slave and free??id themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

In those days men will seek death and never find it. They will want to die, but death will fly from them.

They will be punished with eternal ruin and exclusion from the presence of the Lord and his glorious might,

Then his voice shook the earth, but now his promise is, "But once more I will make not only the earth but the very heaven to tremble!"
