Shall the lame

The blind are regaining their sight and the lame can walk, the lepers are being cured and the deaf can hear, the dead are being raised and good news is being preached to the poor.

Then great crowds came to him bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, or dumb, and many others. And they laid them down at his feet, and he cured them,

And blind and lame people came up to him in the Temple, and he cured them.

Jesus said to him, "Get up, pick up your mat, and walk!"

when a man who had been lame from his birth was carried by. He used to be placed every day at what was known as the Beautiful Gate of the Temple, to beg from the people on their way into the Temple,

for with loud cries foul spirits came out of many who had been possessed by them, and many paralytics and lame people were cured.

In the streets of Lystra a man used to sit who had not the use of his feet. He had been lame from his birth, and had never been able to walk.

The tongue

But just as they were going out, some people brought to him a dumb man who was possessed by a demon,

At that time some people brought to him a man blind and dumb, who was possessed by a demon, and he cured him, so that the dumb man could speak and see.

Then great crowds came to him bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, or dumb, and many others. And they laid them down at his feet, and he cured them,

And they brought to him a man who was deaf and hardly able to speak, and they begged him to lay his hand on him.

One of the crowd answered, "Master, I brought my son to you, for he is possessed by a dumb spirit,

And they were all amazed. Then his voice and the use of his tongue were immediately restored, and he blessed God aloud.

Once he was driving out a dumb demon, and when the demon was gone the dumb man spoke. And the people were amazed.

Let the message of Christ live in your hearts in all its wealth of wisdom. Teach it to one another and train one another in it with thankfulness, with psalms, hymns, and sacred songs, and sing to God with all your hearts.

Now on the last day, the great day of the festival, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.
