Isaiah 38:11

I said, I shall not see LORD, [even] LORD in the land of the living. I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

I believe that I shall see the goodness of LORD in the land of the living.

How much less when thou say thou do not behold him. The case is before him, and thou wait for him!

Return, O LORD, deliver my soul. Save me for thy loving kindness' sake.

As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes. Nevertheless thou heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to thee.

For thou have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.

For the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything, nor have they any more a reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.
