Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
Hearken, ye Coastlands, unto me, And give ear ye peoples afar off, - Yahweh, called me, from my birth, From my nativity, made he mention of my name;
Let be! and know that, I, am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Howbeit, Yahweh, is in his holy temple, - Hush before him, all the earth.
Hush! all flesh, before Yahweh, - For he hath roused himself up out of his holy dwelling.
Let the people
Every man, to his neighbour, giveth help, - And to his brother, saith Take courage!
Rage, O ye peoples, - and be overthrown, And give ear, all ye distant parts of the earth, - Gird yourselves and be overthrown, Gird yourselves, and be overthrown:
Gird, I pray thee - like a strong man - thy loins, that I may ask thee, and inform thou me:

Beat your plough-shares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into spears, - as for the weak, let him say, mighty, I am.
