Isaiah 49:14

But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God"?

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?

I had said in my alarm, "I am cut off from your sight." But you heard the voice of my pleas for mercy when I cried to you for help.

I said,"Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart." Then my spirit made a diligent search:

But now you have cast off and rejected; you are full of wrath against your anointed.

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin.

How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

therefore, behold, I will surely lift you up and cast you away from my presence, you and the city that I gave to you and your fathers.

Why do you forget us forever, why do you forsake us for so many days?

He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy,
