The Spirit of the LORD is on me; because he has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and an opening of the eyes to those who are bound;

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who lived in the land of the shadow of death, on them the light has shined.

I will bring the blind by a way that they do not know. I will lead them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.

"Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
