I will sing about the one I love,
a song about my loved one’s vineyard:
The one I love had a vineyard
on a very fertile hill.

You uprooted a vine from Egypt;
You drove out the nations and planted it.

“Listen to another parable: There was a man, a landowner, who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a winepress in it, and built a watchtower. He leased it to tenant farmers and went away.

Then He began to speak to them in parables: “A man planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug out a pit for a winepress, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenant farmers and went away.

Then He began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, leased it to tenant farmers, and went away for a long time.

Therefore write down this song for yourselves and teach it to the Israelites; have them recite it, so that this song may be a witness for Me against the Israelites.

On that day Deborah and Barak son of Abinoam sang:

For the choir director: according to “The Lilies.” A Maskil of the sons of Korah. A love song.My heart is moved by a noble theme
as I recite my verses to the king;
my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.

A Davidic psalm.I will sing of faithful love and justice;
I will sing praise to You, Lord.

W My love is mine and I am his;
he feeds among the lilies.

W I sleep, but my heart is awake.
A sound! My love is knocking!

M Open to me, my sister, my darling,
my dove, my perfect one.
For my head is drenched with dew,
my hair with droplets of the night.

His mouth is sweetness.
He is absolutely desirable.
This is my love, and this is my friend,
young women of Jerusalem.

>

I am my love’s and my love is mine;
he feeds among the lilies.

Solomon owned a vineyard in Baal-hamon.
He leased the vineyard to tenants.
Each was to bring for his fruit
1,000 pieces of silver.

On that day
sing about a desirable vineyard:

I planted you, a choice vine
from the very best seed.
How then could you turn into
a degenerate, foreign vine?

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vineyard keeper.
