Dividing

Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. Jehovah swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land. The waters were divided.

The waters stood and rose up upon a heap very far from the city Adam that is beside Zaretan. The waters that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off. The people passed over the Jericho.

You parted the sea before them, so that they went through the sea on dry land; and those who went after them went down into the deep, like a stone into great waters.

He divided the sea and caused them to pass through. He made the waters stand up like a heap.

Red Sea, why did you run away? Jordan River, what made you turn back?
