But thou, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend,

Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you. For when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him many.

Thou are LORD, the God who chose Abram, and brought him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gave him the name of Abraham,

Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

And they forgot his doings, and his wondrous works that he had shown them.

Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

O that men would praise LORD for his loving kindness, and for his wonderful works to the sons of men!
