Summary

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

The increase

And thy house and thy kingdom shall be made sure forever before thee; thy throne shall be established forever.

Ask of me, and I will give [thee] the nations for thine inheritance, and the outermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

He shall also have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

I have sworn once by my holiness; I will not lie to David.

This man will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David.

And his delight shall be in the fear of LORD. And he shall not judge according to the sight of his eyes, nor decide according to the hearing of his ears,

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and rulers shall rule in justice.

And in thy majesty ride on prosperously because of truth and gentleness [and] righteousness. And thy right hand shall teach thee awesome things.

Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness to the king's son.

But toward the Son, Thy throne, O God, is into the age of the age. The scepter of thy kingdom is a scepter of straightness.

And I saw the heaven opened, and behold a white horse, and he who sits upon it called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and out of mount Zion those who shall escape. The zeal of LORD of hosts will perform this.

And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his own arm brought salvation to him. And his righteousness, it upheld him.

For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.

But I had regard for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.
