And those who heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest even unto the last; and Jesus was left alone and the woman that had been in the midst.

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment:

to execute judgment upon all and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have unfaithfully committed and of all the hard words which the unfaithful sinners have spoken against him.

Transgressors

For by the deeds of the law, no flesh shall be justified in his sight; for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? No, in no wise. But, I did not know sin except by the law; for neither would I have known lust if the law did not say, Thou shalt not covet.

For through the law I am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
