Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no man among you wise enough to decide between his brethren,

But let each one test his own work, and then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in his neighbor.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or hypocrisy.

Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and rank growth of wickedness, in humility receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
