Jeremiah 10:23

O LORD, I know that man is not the lord of his own way: it is not in man that walks to order his steps.

Man's steps are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

Of man are the preparations of the heart, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.

Sustain my steps in thy ways that my footsteps not slip.

Mem The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and he delights in his way.

Uphold me according unto thy word, and I shall live; and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
