Righteous

Therefore I will beseech thee now, O LORD of Hosts, thou righteous judge, thou that tryest the reins and the hearts: let me see the avenged of them, for unto thee have I committed my cause.
That be far from thee, that thou shouldest do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, and that the righteous should be as the wicked: that be far from thee. Should not the Judge of all the world do according to right?"
He is a Rock, and perfect are his deeds, for all his ways are with discretion. God is faithful and without wickedness, both righteous and just is he.
Against thee only have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight, that thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and clear when thou shalt judge.
I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou of very faithfulness hast caused me to be troubled.
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
O LORD righteousness belongeth unto thee; unto us pertaineth nothing but open shame: as it is come to pass this day unto every man of Judah, and to them that dwell at Jerusalem. Yea, unto all Israel, whether they be far or nigh, throughout all lands wherein thou hast strawed them, because of the offenses that they had done against thee.
Thine eyes are clean, thou mayest not see evil, thou cannot behold the thing that is wicked. Wherefore then doest thou look upon the ungodly, and holdest thy tongue, when the wicked devoureth the man that is better than himself?
But the just LORD that doth no unright, was among them, every morning showing them his law clearly, and ceased not. But the ungodly will not learn to be ashamed.
If our unrighteousness make the righteousness of God more excellent: what shall we say? Is God unrighteous which taketh vengeance? I speak after the manner of men.

Talk

Nevertheless I am purposed to talk with the almighty, and my desire is to commune with God.
Stand at your cause, sayeth the LORD, and bring forth your strongest ground, counseleth the King of Jacob.

Wherefore doth

hereof are they fat and wealthy, and are run away from me with shameful blasphemies. They minister not the law, they make no end of the fatherless cause, they judge not the poor according to equity.
"The houses of robbers are in wealth and prosperity; and they that maliciously meddle against God, dwell without care: yea, God giveth all things richly with his hand.
"Wherefore do wicked men live in health and prosperity, come to their old age, and increase in riches?
{A Psalm of David} Fret not thyself because of the ungodly; neither be thou envious against the evil doers.
And why? I was grieved at the wicked, to see the ungodly in such prosperity.
that the ungodly are green as grass, and that all the works of wickedness do flourish, to be destroyed forever.
LORD, how long shall the ungodly, how long shall the ungodly triumph?
for the turning away of the unwise shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall be their own destruction.
for the law is torn in pieces, and there can no right judgment go forth. And why? The ungodly is more set by than the righteous: this is the cause that wrong judgment proceedeth.
Therefore may we say, that the proud are happy, and that they which deal with ungodliness, are set up: for they tempt God and yet escape.'

Deal

For thy brethren and thy kindred have altogether despised thee, and cried out upon thee in thine absence. Believe them not, though they speak fair words to thee.
For unfaithfully hath the house of Israel and Judah forsaken me, sayeth the LORD.
Moreover, there be some whereof thou hast neither heard nor know, neither have they been open unto thine ears afore time. For I know that thou wouldest maliciously offend, therefore have I called thee a transgressor, even from thy mother's womb.
But even like as Adam did, so have they broken my covenant, and set me at naught.
