The Lord's Reply

¹⁰ Many shepherds, have laid waste my vineyard, They have trampled down my portion, - They have turned my coveted portion into a desert of desolation: ¹¹ It hath been made a desolation, It hath mourned unto me as desolate, - All the land hath become a desolation, For, no man, layeth it to heart. ¹² On all the bare heights in the wilderness, have come despoilers, For the sword of Yahweh hath devoured from one end of the land unto the other, - There is peace for no flesh!
