Jeremiah 2:7

I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and its produce. You came and made my land unclean. You made my heritage disgusting.

Deuteronomy 8:7-9

Jeremiah 3:9

Because she was not concerned about her prostitution. She polluted the land and committed adultery with stone and wood.
