A Series Of Messages For The House Of The King Of Judah

⁷ I will set apart destroyers against you, each with his weapons. They will cut down your choicest cedars and throw them on the fire. ⁸ “Many nations will pass by this city; and they will say to one another, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this great city?’ ⁹ They will answer: 'Because they abandoned the covenant of Jehovah their God and bowed down to other gods and served them.'

1 Kings 9:8-9

This house will become a mass of broken walls. Everyone who goes by will be overcome with wonder at it and make whistling sounds. They will say: Why has Jehovah done this to this land and to this house?

2 Chronicles 7:20-22

I will uproot Israel from the land I gave them. I will reject this Temple that I declared holy for my name. I will make it an example and an object of ridicule for all the people of the world.

Deuteronomy 29:23-26

All its land is brimstone and salt. It is a burning waste, unsown and unproductive. No grass grows on it. Like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which Jehovah overthrew in his anger and in his wrath.

Jeremiah 16:10

Daniel 9:7

O Jehovah, righteousness belongs to you! Shame belongs to us this day! To the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.
