From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
The word of the Lord came to him in the thirteenth year of the reign of Josiah
son of Amon, king of Judah.
1 Kings 22:3

In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still a youth, Josiah began to seek the God of his ancestor David,
and in the twelfth year he began to cleanse Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the Asherah poles, the carved images, and the cast images.
I will do this because they have not listened to My words”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“that I sent to them with My servants the prophets time and time again.
And you too have not listened.” This is the Lord’s declaration.
But the farmers took his slaves, beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.
