Jeremiah 31:13

God's People Brought Home

¹² Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of Jehovah, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the sons of the flock and the herd. And their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not pine away any more at all. ¹³ Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them and make them rejoice from their affliction. ¹⁴ And I will fill the soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says Jehovah.

Isaiah 51:11

Therefore the redeemed of Jehovah shall return and come with singing into Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their head. Gladness and joy shall overtake them; sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Isaiah 61:3

to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the mantle of praise for the spirit of heaviness; so that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that He might be glorified.

Jeremiah 31:4

Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel. You shall again put on your tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.

But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Zechariah 8:19

So says Jehovah of Hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah for joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.

And therefore you now have sorrow. But I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
