We live in tents, and we have obeyed everything our ancestor Jonadab ordered us to do.

The boys grew up. Esau became a skilled hunter, a man who loved the outdoors. Jacob was an upright man who stayed at home.

Live in booths for seven days. Everyone born in Israel must live in booths.

They saw that it was recorded in the law that Jehovah gave orders by Moses, that the children of Israel were to have tents for their living-places in the feast of the seventh month:

Do not get drunk with wine, for that is a public act of violence, but be filled with the Spirit.

By faith he became an alien in the Promised Land. It was not his land. He lived in tents with Isaac and Jacob. They were heirs with him of the same promise.

Beloved, I request that you as aliens and strangers abstain from fleshly lust (desires), which causes conflict in you.

That ye

For their possessions were too great for them to dwell together, and the land where they were strangers could not support them because of their livestock.

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land Jehovah your God gives you.

While they were few in number a small group of foreigners lived in that land.

They were a few men in number, very few, and strangers in it.

Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise.
