And it fortuned that when they had passed over the time of their banqueting round about; Job sent for them, and sanctified them, and gat up early, and offered for every one a burnt offering. But lay thine hand upon him a little, touch once all that he hath, and, I hold, he shall curse thee to thy face."

Then said his wife unto him, "Dost thou yet continue in thy perfectness? Curse God, and die."

Hath he such pleasure and delight in the Almighty, that he dare always call upon God?

When he goeth, the mightiest of all are afraid, and the waves heave.

My voice shalt thou hear betimes, O LORD. Early in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Whatsoever thou takest in hand to do, that do with all thy power: for among the dead, where thou goest unto, there is neither work, counsel, knowledge nor wisdom.

O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be helped. How long shall thy noisesome thoughts remain with thee?

Among all things living, man hath the most deceitful and unsearchable heart. Who shall then know it?

For from within even out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts: adultery, fornication, murder,

all the days of our life, in such holiness and righteousness that are accept before him.

And shall not God avenge his elect, which cry night and day unto him? Yea though he defer them:

And the Jews' Easter was nigh at hand, and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the Easter to purify themselves.

Repent, therefore, of this thy wickedness, and pray God that the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

Then the next day, Paul took the men and purified himself with them, and entered into the temple, declaring that he observed the days of the purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, which will lighten things that are hid in darkness: and open the counsels of the hearts. And then shall every man have praise of God.
