Job 15:18

What have wise men declared, hiding nothing received from their fathers,

Ask the former generations and find out what their fathers learned.

The gray-haired and the aged are on our side, men even older than your father.

And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare your strength to this generation, your power to all who are to come.

That we have heard and known and our fathers have told us.

The living, yes the living praise you, as I am doing today! Fathers tell their children about your faithfulness.
