Job 17:15

Where is my hope? Can you see any hope left in me?

Does your respect for God give you confidence and your lifetime of integrity give you hope?

What strength do I have, that I should wait and hope? What prospects, that I should be patient?

My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle flying back and forth. They end without hope.

Though he put me to death, yet I will hope in him. I will defend my ways before him.

He beats me down on every side until I am gone. He uproots my hope like a tree.
