Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?

I have become a laughingstock to my friends! I called upon God and he answered. Yet I am a mere laughingstock, though righteous and blameless!

Would it turn out well if he examined you? Could you deceive him as you might deceive men?

My friends are my scoffers. My eye weeps to God.

Bear with me, and I will speak. Then after I have spoken, mock on.

I walked around as if I were mourning for my friend or my brother. I was bent over as if I were mourning for my mother.

People passing by spoke evil abuse to him. They wagged their heads

The other wife did everything possible to make her unhappy. This is because Jehovah had not given her children.
