Job 18:3

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee, and the birds of the heavens, and they shall tell thee.

For thou have hid their heart from understanding. Therefore thou shall not exalt [them].

So I was brutish, and ignorant. I was a beast before thee.

I said in my heart, [It is] because of the sons of men, that God may prove them, and that they may see that they themselves are beasts.

with brotherly love toward each other, affectionate, leading each other in recognition,
