Job 26:3

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

Do I have any power to help myself, now that success has been driven from me?

I have a mind as well as you! I am not inferior to you! Who does not know all these things?

If only you would be altogether silent! For you, that would be wisdom.

Have you heard God's council? Do you limit wisdom to yourself?

But now, you must come and try again! I will not find one wise man among you.

Listen! I waited for your words. I listened for your wise sayings, while you determined what to say.

My words come from an upright heart! My lips sincerely speak what I know.

Who is this that conceals (hides) counsel using words without knowledge?

([Sons of Korah]) Listen to this, all you people. Open your ears, all who live in the world.

All day long my mouth will tell of your righteousness and of your salvation. I do not know the number.

Listen for I speak of excellent things. The truth comes from my lips.

I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house.
