Job 30:24

Indeed, no prayer availeth when he stretcheth out his hand: though they cry when he destroyeth.

"So perish all thine enemies, O LORD! But thy friends be like the sun as he rises in his might." And the land had rest for forty years.

Behold, I cry out of wrong, and I am not heard; I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.

Let them not say in their heart, Aha! so would we have it. Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

But the passers-by reviled him, shaking their heads
