So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Relent, let there be no falsehood; reconsider, for my righteousness is intact!

I will say to God, 'Do not condemn me; tell me why you are contending with me.'

Even if he slays me, I will hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face!

There an upright person could present his case before him, and I would be delivered forever from my judge.

my lips will not speak wickedness, and my tongue will whisper no deceit.

"As soon as the ear heard these things, it blessed me, and when the eye saw them, it bore witness to me,

I am pure, without transgression; I am clean and have no iniquity.
