Job 32:11

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

Thus Elihu had waited for Job {to speak} because {they were older than he}.

"They listened to me and waited, and they kept silent for my counsel.

"Look, we have searched this out--it [is] true; hear it and know [it] {yourself}."

The first in his dispute is [deemed] righteous, [but] his neighbor will come and examine him.

A man of wealth [is] wise in his own eyes, but the intelligent poor sees through him.

The Teacher was full of wisdom, and he taught the people with knowledge. He carefully considered many proverbs and carefully arranged them.

"Listen attentively, Job; listen to me; be silent, and I will speak.

and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.
