What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it declare your truth?

You are my secure shelter and a strong fortress to protect me. You are my refuge and defense.

Ephraim, O Ephraim my dear delightful son! Indeed, as often as I have spoken against him, I certainly still remember him. My heart yearns for him. I will surely have mercy on him, declares Jehovah.

I set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. This is because of the blood of your covenant!
