Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and into the house of assemblage for all living.
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, until thou return to the ground: for out of it wast thou taken. For dust thou art; and unto dust shalt thou return.
Thou makest mortal man to return to dust, and sayest, Return, children of men.
and the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit return unto God who gave it.
Fury is not in me. Oh that I had briars and thorns in battle against me! I would march against them, I would burn them together.
For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth; for the spirit would fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
