Job 35:6

If you sin, what do you do against Him? Or if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to Him?

But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all who hate me love death.

Do they vex Me? says Jehovah. Is it not themselves, to the shame of their own faces?

If you are wise, you shall be wise for yourself; but if you scorn, you alone shall bear it.
