Yahweh Interrogates Job

³⁴ Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, so that floods of waters may cover you? ³⁵ Can you send lightnings, that they may go, and say to you, Here we are? ³⁶ Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the mind?

Exodus 9:23-25

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heavens. And Jehovah sent thunder and hail, and the fire came down to the ground. And Jehovah rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

Exodus 9:29

And Moses said to him, as soon as I go out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Jehovah. The thunder shall stop, and the hail will not be any more, so that you may know that the earth is Jehovah's.
