Summary

Seven bullocks

And Balaam said to Balak, "Build for me here seven altars, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams."

And because God helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

And they brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats for a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. And he commanded the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the LORD.

And on the seven days of the festival he shall provide as a burnt offering to the LORD seven young bulls and seven rams without blemish, on each of the seven days; and a male goat daily for a sin offering.

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, "It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts." Thus Job did continually.

And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and sacrifices to God; and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.

My servant job shall

Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, and also healed his wife and female slaves so that they bore children.

When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says the LORD of hosts.

and behold, a voice from heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."

to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

Lest

He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities.
