³ To him the porter opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. ⁴  When he drives out all his own, he goes on before them, and the sheep follow him; because they know his voice. ⁵ But a stranger they will in no wise follow, but will flee from him; because they know not the voice of strangers."
