but that the world may know that I love the Father. And as the Father commanded me, thus I do. Arise, let us go from here.

No man takes it from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from my Father.

Because I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

And having been found in a form like a man, he lowered himself, having become obedient until death, even of death from a cross.

And having gone forward a little, he fell on his face praying, and saying, My Father, if it be possible, may this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not as I want, but as thou.

But I have an immersion to be immersed, and how am I constrained until it will be accomplished.

Jesus says to them, My food is that I do the will of him who sent me, and may finish his work.

Who, in the days of his flesh, having offered up both prayers and supplications with strong shouting and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and who was heard because of his reverence,

I delight to do thy will, O my God. Yea, thy law is within my heart.

Now is my soul troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But because of this I came to this hour.

As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Dwell ye in my love.

Jesus therefore said to Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath. The cup that the Father has given me, shall I, no, not drink it?

Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire, but thou prepared for me a body.

Looking to Jesus the pathfinder and perfecter of the faith, who, against the joy set before him, endured a cross, having despised the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Awake, we go. Behold, he who betrays me has come near.

After speaking these things, Jesus went forth with his disciples on the other side of the brook Kidron, where there was a garden into which he entered, he and his disciples.
